Living in the 1940's
For English this week you are to describe how it would be if you were a sixth-grader during the 1940's. Think about your daily life and what your school might be like. Use specific examples, referring to the things we have learned about in class and from our class guests and what you have read and researched: Would you have had a part-time job? Would you have played video games? What kinds of subjects would you have studied in school? What would have been your afterschool activities? What kinds of clothes would you have worn? Make your reader connect with the time; focus on your IDEAS and STYLE this week as you compose your paragraph.
