Position on Halloween

Halloween is a hotly debated holiday. Some people take the position that it is a holiday that should be banned since it celebrates evil and Satanic practices. By celebrating it, we are encouraging young people to choose to do evil. Others say it is a harmless, fun holiday on which young people dress-up and receive treats.
What do you say? Choose one of these two positions. Develop a topic sentence and create at least three reasons to support your position. You might like to make an idea web on the back of this paper to help you organize your thoughts.
