Results, Please?
(adapted from an idea in The Teacher's Book of Lists)
Results, Please? is a learning center I developed many years ago to give my students practice with surveying others and graphing the results. Obtain a file folder. On the front cover write the title of the activity and paste a few graphs cut from the newspaper or a magazine. On the inside front cover, print the following directions:
Choose a topic from the list. Survey at least thirty people for your chosen topic. Collect your data and graph your results in the form of a bar graph, a line graph, a picto-graph, and a pie graph.
