There once was a creature named Nook. Nook was a young girl with the most loving dad and mom in the solar system. Nook, her dad, and her mom were space creatures that lived on planet Warp, a big green and yellow planet. They were happy, but then things changed.

Nook's mom died! That was the worst change. Then the second worst change happened. Nook's dad, Poppie, remarried an evil space creature. Her name was Viola. She was very mean. She had two daughters. One was really skinny and one was fat. They, too, were also both evil. Like their mom they hated Nook. They were all jealous of her.

They made her do everything. Nook's dad was always away working. So he never saw how poorly Nook was treated.

Nook's house was in a crater. Viola shared a room with her girls. It was the best room in the house. It was Nook's old room. It had a beautiful wooden floor plus lovely hand made blankets for the beds. But Nook had to sleep outside on the hard planet ground. Nook didn't mind. She always enjoyed looking up at all the stars in the sky. Nook was a very nice and caring creature. She had lovely white eyes that she got from her mother.

Viola and her daughters were cruel and rude plus ugly and mean. Viola's daughters were very materialistic. They had to have everything. Nook wasn't. She spent her time cleaning for Viola and her daughters. She also collected gases from different planets. She had a whole bunch. She had different colored gases: blue gases, green gases, and more. Nook's dad brought them home for her. That made Nook happy.

One day there was an announcement. A ball was to be held for the King's son, Neptune. He was desperately looking for a wife. Neptune's dad was the ruler of the planet. He got everything he wanted and what he wanted was for his son to be wed.

Viola and her daughters were so excited. They wanted to marry Prince Neptune. Viola had Nook go get jewels and dresses for them to wear to the ball.

Nook's chores were completed. Then she asked Viola if she could go to the ball. Viola instantly said no. She said no because Nook was wearing rags. Viola would not have her wear rags to the ball. That night after they left for the ball Nook began to cry. She wished that she wouldn't be treated so poorly anymore. She also wished to go to the ball.

Just then a flash of light shot across the sky. All of a sudden Nook's fairy god mother appeared! Nook asked her if she could go to the ball. Her fairy god mother said yes!

First Nook's Godmother took all of Nook's collected gases and mixed them with perfume and magic fairy dust. Then she stirred all the liquids up. After she was done she poured the formula over Nook! Her outfit changed, her hair was combed and put into a beautiful bun with sparkles. She wore a velvet dress with white lily flowers on it. It came with a stunning white shawl!

Her fairy godmother said she could walk to the ball as it was a gorgeous night with a full moon. Then Nook's fairy godmother said be sure to be home by 12:00 because that was the time the spell would be broken. Nook thanked her from the bottom of her heart and off she went to the ball.

At the ball she saw a whole bunch of people, including Viola and her daughters. Just then Prince Neptune came up to Nook and asked her to dance. Nook accepted and they danced the night away. Prince Neptune was nice and caring, just like Nook.

Nook looked so great in the beautiful dress that no one recognized her. Not even Viola and her daughters. Then the prince said you have the most whitest eyes. They look like clouds. They are beautiful. You smell great, too. Like wild flowers, like lily flowers, and like crystal clear drops of sugar water from the clear blue stream. Nook was flattered. She said thank you.

She knew it was from her gases. Wild flower gases. Lily flower gases. Plus drops of water from the blue clean stream.

Nook was having so much fun, she lost track of time. When she finally noticed it was 11:55 PM, Nook ran off leaving the prince behind. She ran so hard some of the gases got carried off in the wind. She tripped and landed in a big bush. Prince Neptune ran after her but could not find her. Then Nook heard him say, "Where ever you are I will find you. I will smell every girl in the palace till I find one that smells as good as you. Hoping it will be you!"

After Prince Neptune went inside Nook picked herself up and ran home.

A couple of days later Nook was sweeping. She heard a knock on the door. It was Prince Neptune. He had come to smell Viola and her daughters and anyone else in the house.

After Prince Neptune had smelled Viola and her daughters he asked if there was anyone else in the house as to he did not have much luck smelling Viola and her daughters.

Viola said yes but she is just our maid. Prince Neptune asked to see her.

Prince Neptune tried to smell her but couldn't for his nose hurt so badly from smelling hundreds of ladies. Suddenly Prince Neptune noticed Nook's cloud white eyes. Then he said you are the one. Nook said YES I am the one!

Then Viola said how could that be? Prove it! Nook said okay. I am the one who smells like wild flowers, like lily flowers, and like crystal clear drops of sugar water! Prince Neptune said, yes you are the one!

Nook was so happy she jumped into Prince Neptune's arms. Viola and her daughters were amazed.

Nook and Prince Neptune married and lived happily ever after at the palace. Nook was never treated poorly again. Nook's dad quit his job and went to live with Nook at the palace. They were happy!

As to Viola and her daughters, they stayed at the small old house, now doing their work for themselves! Viola learned her lesson. To never boss people around just because they wear rags and you don't.
