Once upon a time, there was a girl named Cindy Eller. Cindy was 15 years old when this tale took place. She lived in the country of Australia.

Cindy loved to clean. She cleaned her home until there was absolutely nothing left to clean. Her 17 year old sister, Annie Eller, hated cleaning. She usually was at the mall or something like that.

Cindy Eller was left alone in their spic and span home alone that day. The house was all clean, and her friends were not home. CIndy had nothing to do. She was bored. All of a sudden, a knock came at the door. CIndy wondered who it could be. She opened the door with worry. No one she knew knocked at the door, they just alked in. Swing! She opened the door. Phew! It was only the paper boy.

"Hello, here is today's paper," said the cheerful paper boy.

"Thank you," said CIndy, as she took the paper from his hands and closed the door.

"I wonder what today's headline is?" she asked herself.

BUSHMAN LOST IN SANDSTORM!

"Oh no!" she cried. You see Cindy was in love with the bushman. She set out in search of the bushman. Twenty minutes later, she seemed to have stumbled over something. She guessed it was a shoe. "Now why would a shoe be here?"

Ten minutes later, she decided that she had better go home, for her eyes stung so badly from the sand that it seemed as if a bee had stung each one.

When she found her way home, her mother was overjoyed. Soon, CIndy went to bed. As she was brushing her teeth, something appeared behind her. It was a kangaroo! "My child," said the kangaroo, "I am your fairy kangaroo. For you have been so good to your family and friends, I will grant you one wish."

Cindy was startled to see a kangaroo speak. "Well, my only wish is that the bushman be found," she said.

"So be it!" said the fairy kangaroo. SHe put her joey on the floor, and he left. In a flash, he returned. "It is done," she said. Before Cindy knew it, her fairy kangaroo was gone.

The next morning, the paper boy came again. CIndy opened the newspaper. The day's headline read:

LOST BUSHMAN FOUND!

Cindy said to herself, "Thank you, fairy kangaroo. I am so grateful!"

Cindy continued on in reading the article. It said that the bushman had lost a shoe, and would marry the maiden who brought it back. Only maidens, please!

Cindy reached into her pocket, hoping that she had saved the shoe. There it was!

The next day, CIndy set out to the bushman's home. There was a long line of ladies waiting for a chance to marry the handsome bushman. Of course, none of them had the right shoe. The right shoe was custom made, one of a kind. Only one was ever made!

Finally it was Cindy's turn to try. To her surprise, the bushman flirted with her with a smile. Then she showed him the shoe. He tried it on. It was a perfect fit! Cindy was so happy that she cried.

One week later, CIndy and the handsome bushman were married. They had the most beautiful wedding. She and her bridesmaids all wore pink rose crowns on their heads and the men wore formal tuxedos. A year later they had a baby girl.

The three of them lived happily ever after.
